new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle

In the Volkswagen Group's ambitious plans for the near future, nothing is left to chance, even the smallest niche, such as the New Beetle, a model which in time will inevitably fell by the wayside. On the occasion of renewal, the New Beetle will create a whole new family of models that include more than the sedan and convertible, also a completely new type roadster.

Although it is quite similar to the previous model (a kind of deep restyling similar to what's been on the Mini), the future New Beetle will not arrive before 2012. Among the main new features that stand out in this rendering offered by auto, motor und sport, should be reported to the front air intake greatly inspired by the Volkswagen Up! and the headlights are no longer hosting the round LED headlamp.
For the rest, most of the news is not immediately visible. One of these will be up, stretched compared to the current Beetle, to provide more space on board. The technical basis is that of the Golf and New Beetle finally receive the latest fruits of Volkswagen technology, such as FSI, TSI small (almost certainly the 1.4) and new TDI, as well as the double-clutch gearbox DSG, all measures will help to rejuvenate not just the technical package which now has the car.
