2012 : the new Suzuki Swift Sport

The Frankfurt Motor Show (15-25 September) is the showcase chosen by Suzuki to present their innovations in 2012: the new Suzuki Swift Sport. As already anticipated the Swift Concept S, the new car will be based on the current average house, recently renovated, maximizing the dynamic qualities and performance of the engine, chassis and suspension.

The dimensions grow a little 'in length, 389 cm (+4) with a maximum width of 169.5 cm and a height of 151. The pitch is generous, 2 and 43 meters, and roadways are wide enough to guarantee maximum grip when cornering, the front and 147 cm in more than a few millimeters behind.

The Sport line is immediately recognizable thanks to the vicious, the large grille and black honeycomb, pronounced skirts, lowered suspension and circles the sports of the new design.

Not only appearance, however, for the new Swift Sport 2012. There's also a lot of substance. The engine is a 4-cylinder petrol (engine code M16A) 1.6-liter, naturally aspirated, which delivers maximum power of 136 hp at 6,900 rev / min. combined with a torque of 160 Nm at 4,400 r / min. Coupled to the engine there is a six-speed manual gearbox, developed to ensure an adequate level of performance, fuel economy and comfort especially on long trips.

Compartment frame, a monocoque developed on two floors offers the highest levels of safety and good qualities of rigidity, ensuring the Suzuki Swift Sport dynamic qualities of handling and cornering stability really appreciated, thanks in part to the spring struts and integrated a new rear suspension with multilink.
