2012 Honda Civic Si concept coupe

Here for new Honda Civic Si Concept Coupe and Civic Sedan made their world debut today at the North American International Auto Show, offering a first look at the direction of the official style of the ninth generation of models of 2012, completely renovated, which, as announced, will go on sale this spring. The Civic Si Concept Coupe is a project that concerns only the U.S. and will not be sold in Europe, while the Civic Sedan concept shows the styling direction of a model that will later be sold in a small number of European countries.

2012 Civic meets the company's vision of a "Civic for all", a phrase originally coined to define the objective of the first generation Civic. With the wider availability of engines in its class, the 2012 Civic range will meet the needs of a growing band of buyers of compact vehicles, with a renewed vision of the concept of "Civic for everyone." The lineup includes a sedan and a coupe with the conventional gasoline engine, two sporty versions "Yes", along with a hybrid version and a variant of alternative fuel to natural gas. Providing all these alternatives, Civic offers a compelling balance between fuel economy, low emissions and exciting entertainment guide, and are distinct from any other vehicle. As a new interpretation of the design described as "one-motion" of Civic, the future ninth generation has an even more vigorous. The exterior styling of both the concept highlights the clean lines of the sedan, but sports is that of the coupe, with a steeply raked windshield and pronounced lines along the profile. The bottom line on both models extends toward the rear fenders to enhance the feeling of dynamic energy. The surface of the front fender and gives a three-dimensional look to further highlight a more refined style and depth of the headlights.
