Mazda 6 2013 - harbinger of the new Mazda 6 in Europe
Mazda announces the upcoming debut of the concept in Europe Takeri - precursor updated Mazda 6 2013, which was first presented at the automaker from Japan Tokyo Motor Show 2011. Mazda Takeri Concept is driven by a 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel engine technology «i-stop» and regenerative braking, which provides outstanding fuel economy with high productivity.
Mazda Takeri Concept continues to design philosophy of the company «KODO - Soul Movement" and is the third concept, after the crossover CX-5 and sports sedan Shinari, which were presented in Geneva last year. With dimensions of 4850 mm in length, 1870 mm wide and 1430 mm in height, Takeri has a wheelbase of 2830 mm and up to the name "five meter" falls short of 15 inches.
Under the hood of the concept of an effective working diesel engine 2.2-liter turbocharged and technology SKYACTIV-D, which is available as a 150-strong, and in the 175-strong versions, and the wheel torque is transmitted through the automatic transmission SKYACTIV-Drive with six transmissions.
An interesting feature of Takeri, reduces fuel consumption by 10 per cent is a regenerative braking system that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy and stores it is not the battery, and capacitor.

Wheels of the car combine lightness and strength of a 20-inch aluminum 10-spoke wheel with low profile tires in size 245/40 R-20 production Bridgestone.
The European debut of Mazda Takeri Concept is planned for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show next month, 2012.
